It’s always a treat to stay in a hotel, even when it’s in the same city where you live! Recently, seven members of our writing team had the pleasure of being hosted by the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel for our Executive Retreat. Not only did we enjoy the upscale and comfortable accommodations, but we got to also see how businesses can benefit from their meeting spaces.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the receptionists at the desk. They were very helpful and kind, making sure we knew about parking ($10 daily fee) and the amenities that the hotel offered. With it being so close to Bricktown, it was easy to feel like we were close to our evening activities, without hearing the hustle and bustle of a late night city scene outside.
Arriving on our floor, the rooms were warm and inviting, and as moms who may or may not get a full nights rest, the pillows were calling to us!
Amenities
Although we didn’t get to sample them, there is a Fitness Center (open 24 hours a day!), and a Pool that would be perfect for kids to splash around in or a late night soak.
For your coffee needs, there is the Library Coffee & Co in addition to Block 23, which are both open early! *Although we didn’t get to sample the coffee, it looked absolutely delicious!
Conference Room
For conference room needs, the Sheraton offers many room sizes. For our specific retreat, the Executive Boardroom was absolutely perfect. It fit the seven of us with ease where we were spoiled by attentive staff who kept the water and coffee service full, and even tidied the room when we took our lunch break. It was wonderful to be able to ask questions at any moment and receive warm and helpful responses in return. *Special shoutout to Chris for being so wonderful to work with and having our day flow smoothly!
We spent hours in the Executive Boardroom plugging away. When we stopped for lunch, Block 23 was just a short walk downstairs where we filled up on delicious fare. *We sampled the fajita bowl, club sandwich, turkey sandwich and turkey burger. All are definitely recommended!
Also coming soon, an outdoor patio space! How beautiful is this?
We wish we could have stayed longer at the Sheraton OKC, but sadly we had to go home. We cannot recommend the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel enough for your business or personal needs!
