Your Next Get-Away: Rustic Luxury Cabins in Broken Bow

This is a sponsored post for Rustic Luxury Cabins in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. However, all opinions expressed here are my own.

It had been way too long since our family had gotten out of town together. So when I came across pictures of Rustic Luxury Cabins, it felt like fate. Looking at pictures of these beautiful cabins, located near Beavers Bend State Park, brought a contented sigh to my heart. Obviously, I had found the perfect place for our next get-away. Rustic Luxury Cabins offers four cabin rentals and each cabin can accommodate up to 6 or 14 people. I talked to my husband and we booked one of the smaller cabins right away.

It’s an easy four-hour drive from Oklahoma City to the Broken Bow area and we found the Rustic Retreat cabin right before dinnertime. We walked in and immediately fell in love. The cabin was perfect; so cozy and so beautiful. If we were to think of all the extras or high-end finishes we would want in our home, they were there.

After taking our family to dinner in Hochatown, we headed back to Rustic Retreat, where…get this: we watched a Friday night OKC Thunder game from the hot tub on the spacious covered back porch. Later that night, we sat on this same covered porch, wrapped in quilts, watching a thunderstorm. The next night we found ourselves on the wrap-around porch again to grill our dinner. We ate our grilled steak and veggies on the outdoor dining table under a giant chandelier and then moved to the outdoor fire pit. The fire pit was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine (or 7-Up for the little), while sitting around a campfire and looking at the stars.

If you were to ask our youngest what her favorite part of the cabin was, she’d say the hot tub. If you asked our older daughter, she’d say the rain shower. If you were to ask my husband, he’d say the back porch, which included a TV, comfy furniture, hot tub, fireplace, dining table, and more. If you were to ask me, I’d say everything. As a family, we spent two days playing games, exploring the area, reading by the fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, sitting around the fire, and just being with each other. It was glorious. The Rustic Retreat cabin was such a beautiful setting for our first family get-away in a long time.

Once our time at the Rustic Retreat cabin had come to a close, we packed up and made one more stop. Our family had the opportunity to meet Rustic Luxury’s owners (a husband and wife duo with 5-year-old twins who had visited the area, fell in love with it, and began building and designing these cabins soon after). Can I just say, I am so glad that they did!? Besides hearing about their love for the area and their design inspiration, we received a tour of their newest cabin, Rustic Heights. I’ve got two words to describe Rustic Heights: WOW FACTOR. Here’s a peek of Rustic Heights; now available for rent.

Crazy beautiful, right?

If you’re still not convinced this is the place for your next getaway, check out this list of things offered in the Broken Bow Area: Top 25 Things to Do in Broken Bow. Off this list, we enjoyed dinner at Grateful Head Pizza, spent a little time at the Beavers Bend Brewery, and explored Beavers Bend State Park. As you can see, you can go to Broken Bow for adventure or for seclusion, whichever you prefer. We may even try to come back for the Big Foot Festival next year. Why not?

If you’re looking for the perfect place to get away by yourself, with your significant other, your family, a small group retreat, family reunion, or group of girlfriends, we’ve done the research and we can whole-heartedly recommend Rustic Luxury Cabins.

Our only regret? That we didn’t book earlier.
