OKC Mom’s Blog was so excited to initiate a side to the blog that offers an outlet for mom’s needing to connect and find entertainment for their kids during the week day. What better way to do so than to offer a playgroup meet up once a month for our lovely readers?!
This month OKC Mom’s Blog had our very first playgroup, and it was a SUCCESS! Journey Church in Norman was an awesome host letting us utilize their indoor play gym.
The kids had a blast getting to know one another, and the moms had a blast meeting new faces, sharing stories and laughing.
Journey’s indoor play gym is a great spot offering a sitting area with several tables and chairs that is in perfect sight and distance from where the children play. My favorite part was being able to have a nice area to bring a pack lunch and then quickly resume playing. There was even a space for the little ones to play while the older kids got to climb, slide and just generally have a great time being kids!
OKC Mom’s Blog is so thankful for all the readers and supporters. Thank you to those who showed up and had a blast! We will be offering another playgroup on Wednesday, February 12th @ 10AM-Noon {be checking back to the blog for more details on location!}
