My Mommy Must Have Products

Motherhood is fun, challenging, full of surprises, and constantly evolving. I’m not sure about you, but I can use all of the help I can get as mommy, so I wanted share my current top 5 mommy must have products.mommy products

1) Planner. How can a person not use a planner? I’m a very visual person. As much as I think I can remember everything on my to-do list, there is no way to juggle it all. Some weeks I use it like crazy, other weeks, it’s just around, but it is a source of comfort for my busy life as a wife and momma of three. The planner that I’ve found to work best for me is by Orange Circle Studio.  I LOVE that it is easily customizable so that everything is in one easy place!

Our diffuser is on our mantel because the family room is the most used room of our home.

2) Essential Oil Diffuser. I’m not a die hard fanatic about essential oils, and I’m not going to pretend like I know everything there is to know about them. In fact, I know very little, but I have been using that little bit of knowledge to safely use oils topically during the winter months for the past two years. And we have been very lucky to endure a few colds over the last two years. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but maybe not. This year, I happily welcomed a diffuser into our home and ask myself quite often why I didn’t get one sooner?! So, what have I been diffusing with my new favorite toy? Lemon & lavender are a yummy combination that make my home smell so fresh and clean. And since we are in the middle of strep and flu season, I’ve been diffusing an immune boosting oil synergy almost daily.

3) Fast Drying Nail Polish. Moms need to do something for themselves every once in awhile. Honestly, it makes us better moms. One way that I find “me” time is by taking a few minutes to paint my fingernails. Can you imagine though… as soon as you swipe on your polish, the toddler has taken off their diaper while your preschooler has unloaded the silverware drawer. It is inevitable that something will happen, so the only polish that I buy is fast drying polish. If our hands are out of commission for longer than a couple of minutes, trouble will be brewing. Can I get an amen? Fast drying polish is perfect for little ones who like to get their nails polished pretty too! BONUS TIP: I like to paint my nails in the car while I’m in the pick up line waiting for my oldest to get out of Kindergarten. That limits the possibilities of my other two getting into trouble. 😉

A little bit of TP goes a long way!

4) Food Processor. Does anybody else sneak veggies into your kids diets? I love upping the veggies in many things that we eat. The only way that I can get away with it is all thanks to my food processor. It lets me quickly chop up the veggies into fine pieces that nobody notices. My kids claim that they hate mushrooms, but they have no idea that their spaghetti sauce is full of them. My kids claim that they don’t want any more celery or carrots, but they have no idea that they are in the bowl of potato soup that they just gobbled down. And my kids claim that they don’t like spinach, but they have no idea that their fruit smoothie is loaded with that green goodness.

5) Toilet Paper holder. Yes, you read that right. My number 5 favorite product right now, is a toilet paper holder. But, it’s not just any holder, this one actually looks cool and sits in my entry way. This might seem a little odd, but I don’t like buying tissues. My kids go through them faster than humanly possible so I quit buying them. And, toilet paper is so much cheaper! For Christmas, Santa brought me this holder and my heart nearly skipped a beat.
