Summer will be here before we know it! This time of year can be an exciting time full of new adventures and lazy days, or they can be taxing to find a good place for your kids to go so boredom doesn’t set in too early. Since we know moms like to plan ahead and get everything lined up, NOW is the time to think about SUMMER CAMP!
Welcome to the 2018 Oklahoma City Summer Camp Guide!
Below we have put together a resource for you that will appeal to each of your campers. There are lots of fun happenings in and around the Oklahoma City metro!
KaleidEscape Summer Camp is for children ages 3-11. Each session is one week in length and meets daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the option of extending the day until 5:30 p.m. You may enroll in any number of sessions (all four or any combination of the four). Arts and crafts, drama, hiking, science fun, bounce houses, and Chick-Fil-A lunch on Fridays are just a few of the great activities we enjoy! Cost: $180/session
NEW for summer 2018 – We will be offering after care! Beyond the Camp (BTC) will be offered daily from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. Students will enjoy extra time to explore the outdoors, participate in STEAM projects, and so much more! Cost: $75/session
Session 1: Adventureland. June 4-8, 2018
Campers will enjoy treasure hunts, costume day, playing dress up with pirate hats, and creating balloon art!
Session 2: Nature Quest. June 11-15, 2018
51 acres of FUN! Campers will hike, play in tree forts and work on nature journals. They’ll learn from experts on identifying insets, birds, plants and animal tracks.
Session 3: Imaginarium. June 18-22, 2018
Calling all little engineers! Join us to design race cars, participate in an inventors fair, study robotics, and play with your food with food architecture!
Session 4: Down on the Farm. June 25-29, 2018
Yee-haw! Come out for some old fashioned fun as kids will learn to make butter, have stick horse races, and make artwork with fruit!

Summer Explorers is a chance to learn everything you can about dinosaurs, take an adventure through Oklahoma’s ponds, become a space cadet and so much more! The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History offers five jam-packed days of awesome activities and classes — all taught by trained staff — for children ages 4 to 14 and their families.
Camp is offered June-July 2018.
Monday's at Metro Gymnastics
Every Monday this summer, Metro hosts one day gymnastics camps for boys and girls. Your camper will get a lot of exercise and have fun at our camps. They make a cool take home craft, burn energy with gymnastics, play games and have an ULTIMATE BLAST! Best of all….they will have the opportunity to work on gymnastics skills in a super fun setting!
Starting June 4th, every Monday from 9:00-12:00. Bring your lunch and extend your camp time to 3:00 by enrolling in one of our awesome gymnastics clinics! June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23. $25.00/child/camp
YMCA Camp Classen
YMCA Camp Classen is a traditional overnight summer camp nestled on 2,200 acres in the Arbuckle Mountains. Home to campers 6-16, Camp Classen provides the perfect setting for learning, growth and fun. With a wide variety of activities from archery and horseback riding to hiking and canoeing, campers gain skills and confidence to propel them forward in life. We are intentional with our camp programming and are devoted to safety through our two-week staff training.
Summer Camp – June 3 – July 18
Camp is open year-round.
Join us at New Hope UMC for the Greatest Summer on Earth day camp. We will meet 3 days a week, but flexible enrollment is available. We will have weekly themes, plus daily chapel, literacy, and math time to retain those valuable skills learned during the school year. Our program is open for 6 week-old through entering 5th grade.
