Kite Fest (Edmond)
This annual event at Mitch Park in Edmond provides FREE kites to kids (donations are encouraged) and brings out professional kite flyers who put on an impressive show! It’s a great way to kick off a week of family fun.
Tuesday, July 3
Red, White & Boom! (OKC – Fairgrounds)
If you enjoy music with your merriment, stop by the fairground to check out the OKC Philharmonic’s tribute to America. The FREE concert starts at 8:30 PM with an approximate start time of 10 PM for the fireworks display.
Freedom Fest – Tribute to Veterans (Yukon)
Head out to Yukon to kick off the two days of 4th of July fun! Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
Wednesday July 4
Tribute to Liberty (Midwest City)
Perfect for any family, the annual festival at Joe Barnes Regional Park features a flyover, concerts, food trucks, and rounds off with fireworks at 9:45 PM.
Freedom Fest (Yukon)
If fireworks are your favorite part of July 4th, you will definitely want to head to Yukon City Park for an all day family fun festival featuring fireworks shows starting at 10 p.m.
Celebration in the Heartland (Moore)
Families with younger children, head to Buck Thomas Park for an all-day for food, drink, treats, sand volleyball, kid’s face painting, inflatables, helicopter rides, touch-a-truck, and more! Fireworks begin at approximately 9:45 PM.
Liberty Fest (Edmond)
Kick off the day at Oklahoma’s largest hometown parade and cap it off with fireworks being shot off from Hafer Park. Don’t miss ParkFest at Mitch Park from 4-6 p.m. for an afternoon of family fun!
