This events guide is brought to you by the Oklahoma City Museum of Art presenting Sacred Words: The Saint John’s Bible and the Art of Illumination now on view. The Saint John’s Bible is the first illuminated, handwritten Bible of monumental size to be commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in the last 500 years. Sacred Words includes seventy selected folios from The Saint John’s Bible as well as other historical illuminated manuscripts and the sketches, drawings, inks and tools used to create the bible.

Plus, SAVE THE DATE for SONIC Free Family Day on November 13th when families can enjoy free admission to the Museum from 12-5 pm (including Sacred Words) as well as calligraphy, art activities, a photo booth, door prizes and a host of other activities!

Hayley Clyburn
Hayley has been married to her high school sweetheart, Andrew, for 5 years. They have boy/girl twins, Andley and Silas who are two and are very toddleresque these days. Hayley has been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, which is something she is extremely grateful for. She is an Okie, born and raised and has her bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She is a cloth diapering, baby food making, semi-crunchy mama who enjoys spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, going to Target, cooking and crafting.
