Erin :: Owner
Erin was Okie born, but was East coast bred from ages 5-18. She returned to Oklahoma City for college at Oklahoma Christian where she and her husband met through friends and were married. Taking her love of connecting people and places to the blogging world, she co-founded Oklahoma City Moms Blog in 2013. She loves being a mom with all of her heart to her daughter and son – who battled and won a fight against Lymphoma in 2016. It changed her outlook on love and life and is so grateful for each and every new day.

Kelly :: Managing Editor
Kelly is a working momma to her daughter, Genevieve (2014) and son, J.W. (2016). She’s an Edmond native, but left the state to get a degree in journalism from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) and work in Dallas for a few years. She moved back “home” to Oklahoma after meeting her husband and is now so thrilled to be raising her children right where she grew up! When she’s not working or playing with her kiddos, she’s making note of some of motherhood’s (mis)adventures and celebrating mediocrity on her blog – The OK Momma.

Heather :: Social Media Coordinator
Heather is a transplant from Tulsa, OK, who enjoys falling in love with Oklahoma City and all it has to offer. A communications and public relations specialist, Heather is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with degrees in film studies and creative writing. She loves to write, capture her day with photographs and videos, and spend time with her husband Byron and their two rambunctious dogs. They have a brand new baby boy and are navigating the unique world of first-time parenthood. Huge fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder, their favorite thing to do is attend Thunder games.

Becky Walker :: Community Engagement Manager
I fell in love with my husband, Dustin, when I was a wide eyed 15 year old. I have been a mostly loving wife since June 5, 2010, and a professional mom since February 16, 2012. My daughter, Lyla, is five. She is funny, forgiving and honest, and her favorite color is sparkly rainbow. My baby boy, Karrick, is equal parts mischief and joy. Our family is very excited to be welcoming baby #3 later this year! Most of the time, you can find us out and about, exploring the city and avoiding the laundry. On the weekends, I enjoy teaching childbirth classes out of my home. I do my very best to run a happy and healthy household for my husband and the little people God has entrusted to me.

Amy Shirola :: Community Outreach Manager
Amy is an Oklahoma City native who had a couple of brief stints in Texas and Colorado. She spent 15 years in Corporate accounting but decided it was too boring and quit to find a fun job. She’s married to her college sweetheart Andy and together they claim three kids Carson (14), Neely (12), and Karly (10). Amy requires coffee to start her day and good chocolate to end it. When she’s not shuttling kids around she enjoys running somewhere pretty, cooking anything tasty, hiking some secluded far off trail, Netflix binging and trying to train her 4th child, Border Collie, Izzy. You can catch up with her and her family on her blog.

The Co-Founders in 2013
Best friends Erin Cornell & Maria Clark are the co-founders of Oklahoma City Moms Blog. They decided to start this blog just for OKC Moms through the City Moms Blog Network in November 2013. Putting a lot of hard work, late nights and love into building this resource and online community, they have grown and learned so much on the journey through this! After welcoming her third child and moving to a smaller town north of the city, Maria thought it best to focus on family for a bit. She has settled in as a contributor role to keep connected with the moms of OKC! Read more of our journey HERE and how OKC Moms Blog came to be!
