As moms, we are always looking for quick and easy ways to feed our families healthy foods. Fresh foods are the best fast food there is and the best place to find it is by visiting a local farmer’s market. At a local market you can buy local, direct from the farmer, and eat healthier foods.

Living in Oklahoma, there is a great variety of fruits and vegetables grown locally. So every season, you were sure to find a various foods at your local farmer’s market. Find out what’s season with this handy chart from OSU OKC Farmer’s Market.  When you buy seasonally, you get the freshest produce, but you can also save money. Who doesn’t like to do that? Here is a list of the local markets in the Oklahoma City Metro area.

Oklahoma City Area Farmers Markets:

OSU-OKC Farmers Market

When: Saturdays 8am – 1pm, year around. Wednesdays June to September 8am – 1pm.

Where: OSU-OKC Campus, Horticulture Pavilion, 400 N. Portland, OKC

Uptown Farmer’s Market

When: Last Sunday of each month 11 am – 4 pm.

Where: 24th and N. Walker Ave, OKC

Edmond Farmers Market

When: Saturdays 8am – 1pm, April-October except the first weekend of May. Wednesdays 8am – 1pm June to early August.

Where: 26 W. First Street, Edmond

Norman Farmers Market

When: Saturdays 8am – 12 pm and Tuesdays 4pm – 7 pm, April to October.

Where: Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 615 E. Robinson St., Norman.

MidDel Farmers Market

When: Saturdays 9am -1pm, May to October.

Where: 10721 East Reno (1/2 mile East of Post Rd), Midwest City

Midwest City Farmer’s Market

When: Saturdays 8am – 12pm, June to October.

Where: 9104 SE 15th, Midwest City

Moore Farmers Market

When: Thursdays 4pm-7pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm, May – August.

Where: 301 S Howard, Moore

Mustang Kiwanis Farmers Market 

When: Saturday 8am-11am, June – August.

Where 470 W Hwy 152, Mustang

Piedmont Farmers Market

When: Saturday 8am-11am, June – August

Where: The Service center at Jackson and Piedmont Road, Piemdont

  1. Thank you for sharing information about Farmers’ Markets. The Uptown Farmers Market is the last Sunday of the Month from 11-4.
