At Oklahoma City Mom, our main goal is to connect local moms (YOU) to one another! We’ve heard from so many moms who are new to town, new to mommyhood, and/or just in need of some mommy friends. We know that being a mom is the most rewarding job we can do, but it’s also the hardest. We all need some support now and then from others who know just what we are going through! With that in mind, Oklahoma City Mom offers monthly meet-ups and play dates, as well as larger events to help connect local moms to one another and our community. But we’ve heard your cry for MORE!!
So, we would like to start coordinating some smaller, more neighborhood-specific playgroups in addition to our regular meet-ups. Being part of one of these groups will allow you to meet and get together with other moms that live nearby! We are starting these regional playgroups:
- The OKCM Metro Playgroup
- The OKCM South OKC/Moore Playgroup
- The OKCM Edmond Playgroup
- The OKCM Mid/Del City Playgroup
- The OKCM Yukon/Mustang Playgroup
- The OKCM Norman Playgroup
- The OKCM Jones/Choctaw Playgroup
- The OKCM Piedmont Playgroup
- The OKCM Dad’s Playgroup
Our goal is to make these groups work for you! We are also looking for individuals familiar with their region who are interesting in helping coordinate playdates for each group.
If you are one of our followers who live in other areas you are welcome to join the group nearest you. You may also volunteer to start a playgroup in your town as well!
To join a group, click on the link above for the group(s) you would like to join! We will ask 3 short questions to help ensure you are local to our community and then will add you to the group!
We hope this will be an opportunity for you and your kids to make some new friends and connections in our community! In order to stay up-to-date on ALL the connection opportunities Oklahoma City Mom offers, make sure to subscribe to receive our blog posts by email, “like” our Facebook page, and follow us on Twitter (@OklahomaCityMom), Instagram (@oklahomacitymom), and Pinterest (OklahomaCityMom)! We look forward to hearing from you!!
I tried to email but it sent it back to me, just checking that the address above is correct?
Sorry about that! It’s [email protected]. Thanks!!

Hi there! Do you know of any infant music classes in OKC. I know there are some in Edmond… but looking for something in Oklahoma City for my 6 month old. Thanks!
Hi! Musical Me in OKC or Gracenote are great ones! The libraries often have free music classes for preschoolers, toddlers and babies!
Are there any currently existing “working executive mom” groups out there?
I go to networking event after networking event and always find myself drawn to the other executive moms.
I’d love to start a networking group specific to this but want to know if there is one already going in full force!
(Disclosure, all moms are working moms, that’s the reason I specified ‘executive mom’ in the title. Specifically for networking businesses, getting to know more about each others industry and acting as ambassadors for each other.)
