Alicia loves dates with her hubby, gardening, spending time with her family, and all things OU.

Brittni

Brittni is a Kansas girl at heart and newly married to her Kansas born but Sooner bred husband Josh. A sweet baby girl named Marci Ann and 3 dogs round out their loving family. They call Moore home having moved here from Houston. Within the past year and half she has moved to OK, married her love, graduated from college, spent 9 months on bed rest, and birthed her beautiful MA.

She is a follower of Christ, blessed wife, and aspiring homeroom mom. She is fueled by Half-Caff Vanilla Caramel Coconut Milk Lattes and anything sweet. She is a GF baking pro, avid baby wearer, hedgehog lover, and Christmas obsesser. You can find her keeping it real and simple over at her blog Marci & Me!

1. What is the most random thing in your purse right now?
Well I’m no longer fancy and just carry a diaper bag now because #momlife but the most random thing is probably a charger. I always make sure to have one on me since we are on the go a lot! I keep my diaper bag pretty clean because I need to fit lots of bulky cloth diapers in it!

2. Who is your favorite TV mom?
Joanna Gaines for sure! She is a Christian mom who always makes sure her 4 kids are involved in her projects. I would love to be able to own my own business that allowed me the opportunity to work beside my kids whenever I wanted to!

3. Favorite thing to do with your children in Oklahoma City?
My little one is only 5 months old but my favorite thing to do is to go to Milk Moms at Thrive Mama Collective in the Plaza District. It is a breastfeeding support group we have been attending since she was 3 weeks old. The friends and sisters I have made have been the biggest blessing for this non-native Oklahoman!

4. What are you most passionate about outside of motherhood?
Besides blogging about motherhood, I would say church, being outdoors, and baking!

5. If someone met you for the first time, what is something you’d want them to know about you?
I am a total extrovert who is on a mission to simplify her life, learn to love the things she has, and invest more in my relationships!

Caitlynne

Cassie Duffle Photography

Caitlynne is a SAHM to three energetic and adorable little boys, Paxton (6), Porter (4), and Lincoln (1).  She married her high school sweetheart and they settled down in their hometown of Edmond, OK after a brief relocation to Durham, NC.  Caitlynne enjoys family vacations, trying new restaurants, taking her boys on adventures, and watching the Office.

1. What is the most random thing in your purse right now?
Right now, my 14-month-old has a kitchen utensil obsession.  We have measuring cups and spoons and a marinade brush in the living room and I have a bowl scraper in the diaper bag in case of a public meltdown.

2.Who is your favorite TV mom?
My favorite TV mom is Tammy Taylor from Friday Night Lights!  I love how involved she is in her daughter’s life and how supportive she is of her husband.

3. Favorite thing to do with your children in Oklahoma City?
We love going downtown and eating lunch at Pitchfork in the Park and letting the boys play in the fountain while my husband and I actually get a chance to talk.  Then we walk around the pond and look for fish and ducks while they dry off.  There are lots of spots for cute pictures of the kids and it burns all of their energy.

4. What are you most passionate about outside of motherhood?
I am most passionate about forging new relationships and maintaining old ones.  I love spending time with friends, catching up with family members and dating my husband.  These were some of the things I missed the most when we lived in North Carolina, far away from literally everyone we knew (including babysitters).  Now that we are back home, spending time with my favorite people is crucial.

5. If someone met you for the first time, what is something you’d want them to know about you?
I would want them to know that I am trying my best!  I am usually five minutes late, my hair is crazy and someone is throwing a fit, but we probably spent those five minutes finding the one Hot Wheels car the 4-year-old needed to bring and it was more important to me to say yes than to be right on time.
