I’m Obsessed With Panera Bread

It’s no secret that I have had a long time love affair with Panera Bread.  It’s the kind of food that always hits the spot and it’s the perfect place for any occasion.   I’ve gone to Panera with my friends for a girl’s night out, I’ve delivered Panera to new moms in the hospital, and I’ve eaten way too many bagels for breakfast because they are the. best. food. ever.

Recently I discovered something that transformed my Panera Bread love into a full blown obsession.

My children and I had been shopping at the Outlet Shoppes of OKC, and we had stayed a little too long.  We were right before the point of no return (tantrums, tears, and whining) however, I knew my time there was OVER.

This boy is a huge fan of Panera Bread’s mac n cheese!

I weighed my lunch options, and I knew Panera was right down the street.  But would my kids sit through a lunch? Heck to the no.

That’s when the skies opened up and I remembered that Panera now has the Rapid Pick Up option.  I had never utilized this unique feature, so I thought I would give it a shot! I could order my meal over the phone or on their website and then simply go in and pick it up.  Also, you can save your order which makes ordering in the future super easy. No long line or in store wait time?  This is seriously a busy mom’s dream come true.

So I ordered our meal, paid over the phone, and a few minutes later I drove on down to Panera.  When I pulled in to the parking lot,  it was BUSY.  I walked inside and realized that the order line was snaking around to the door.

20160526_120732I anxiously wondered if our food would be ready because my kids had the wiggles and my 2-year-old had somehow managed to lose a shoe in the 2.5 seconds we had been there. I knew that if we had to wait a long time chaos would ensue.

I looked up and saw the Rapid Pick Up shelf, and sure enough, our food was DONE. Ready to go with zero wait time? Yes please!

Folks, this was SO easy.  We were in the store a total of less than 2 minutes, I got to enjoy my ever beloved Panera Bread, and my kids were able to come home and eat in peace.

Panera Bread made lunch time for moms that much easier, and I, for one, am now obsessed.

I grew up in sunny California and moved to Oklahoma to attend college. That is where I met my amazing husband, and now we are here to stay! I live in Blanchard with my husband and three kiddos. We also have two standard poodles who we all adore and consider a part of our family! My family likes to stay busy, and we are always on the go exploring Norman and OKC. I love to write, and I document my adventures on this crazy journey of motherhood on my personal blog!
