Boots & Ballgowns {Mom Prom Recap}

mom promA few weeks ago, on the most gorgeous night Oklahoma City has had in a long time, over 115 women gathered at the event barn at the Harn Homestead to have a night of dancing, food, giveaways and laughter!  We thoroughly enjoyed this event as we could see the stress melt off these mom’s faces as they came with groups of friends to enjoy a night off.  A huge thanks to Mary Steadman Photography for capturing these moments!MomProm CollageFor starters, we would love to thank our co-sponsors for the event.  Dr. Joe Harris with Harris Dentistry and Kendra Scott were really the ones who made this event possible.  We also had a really fantastic DJ!  Nothing sets the mood at a Mom Prom quite like the music.  DJ Keegan with Kirkhart Entertainment kept the flow going the whole night long. He played all the songs our hearts love to hear that get our feet movin’.  If there was something someone wanted to hear, he played it!

We really wanted to get the details right for our rustic night of boots and ballgowns, and we were so thrilled when Borrowed Charm and Tony Foss Flowers provided the vintage rentals and floral centerpieces. They were both amazing to work with and put the perfect touches on the event.

We had a fabulous lineup of catered food and drinks that night.  We had a cash bar and delicious appetizers from Interurban Catering who were amazing to keep up with the demand all night long, Zoe’s Kitchen (Classen Curve) who brought some amazing cookies, pita bread, cucumbers and hummus, Johnny Carino’s (South Walker) with some amazing chicken kabobs, spinach artichoke dip and bruschetta, and iced tea and lemonade provided by Chick-fil-a at I-40 and MacArthur. And the sweets. OH the sweets.  A huge thank you to Buttersweet Cakes for the delectable mini cupcakes in every flavor imaginable and Cookies By Sydnie for the most amazing cookies, decorated perfectly for our event!MomProm Collage3
